Best Trout Streams of North Georgia

If you have fished at the following three places you should reply: Stamp Creek(near Cartersville Ga.), Jacks River (near Dalton),
or Conasauga Lake (near Jacks River). I have been fishing at all three places. I have the most luck at Stamp Creek. If you have caught any thing at Stamp Creek tell me your strategy. I'll tell you how I fished the creek.

Jonathan I have never fished Stamp creek but some of the people I work with have with mixed results, mostly depending on when the stocking took place. Another good small stream you might try in NW Ga. is Johns creek on the Johns Mountian WMA if you need directions e-mail me or let me know and I will be happy to put you on it.

Where is the steam located or what city is it near? I have heard of that sream before but i dont think I have fished it.

Its in the norhtern most part of Floyd co. (Rome) just off the old Dalton rd. I'm not sure what the fastest route from Calhoun is i'll check my map and get back to you.
