First, Thanks for the replies regarding spawning Brown Trout in the lower Hooch. I posted that question after I came across some old AJC articles I have kept. One article in particular is about a doode (Stan Crigger) who has caught: 18 lb Brown at lower 285 bridge, 13.5 and 12.5 and 11 pound Rainbows below Morgan Falls Dam. The article goes on to say he has caught 30 Rainbows and 29 Browns weighing 8lbs or more since the 1970s. Most all of these fish were caught in the fall and winter months from Morgan Falls to 285. The article has a photo of most of the mounted fish ;-( I think the article is dated around '92.
Secondly, I have located some satelite images of favorite Hooch locations on the Microsoft Terraserver. Take a look. They are pretty neat. They're on my Driftboat page at:

Good luck.
I AM IMPRESSED! Both at the boat and the time it must have taken you to find all those locations! This is very well done. Would you be willing to let me use those links as well on our NGTO streams page?
Hope to meet you at the Fling!

Feel free to use the links.
Although I may go to Daytona Beach that week for some R&R, I may return early to attend the Fling.
For those of you so inclined, you could probably locate your favorite fishin' hole on the TerraServer. Just remember that the photos are at least 4 or 5 years.
Go Braves!!!

Ya know, you can also download those pictures. I use that server all the time for evaluating hunting land. I put together website for our huntclub that has one, check it out.

Drifter,
From some of the post oyu haave put on the board it sounds like you might be from or have live and fished in the midwest at on point and time. Am I on the right track here or of base? You were asking about a brown trout fall run and that sounds like a saying around the great lakes as well as the drift boat use for fishing.
Just woundering....

Flyguy,
Since we're in the midst of the baseball playoffs, your "off base" and "out in left field" ;)
Been in Georgia most of my life.
I fell in love with driftboats after a few trips to Montana.
Keep on fishin'!
Go Indians!!
