Camping near the Hooch

Fellow fisheads,

Does anyone know of a campground in close proximity to the Hooch in the areas of: Abbotts Bridge, Medlock Bridge, or Jones Bridge. Nothing fancy, maybe just a nice grassy level place to pitch a tent.

I know about Lake Lanier, but I'd prefer something farther south. Thanks in advance.

I've seen people camp just below the Ramp at Jones Bridge. Also, there are some good places to camp on the west side of the river above Holcombe Bridge.
Up river, The section between Ga 20 and Settles Bridge has some areas where you won't be in someones back yard. Particularly on the East side of the river. Be sure and secure your boat and camp in the woods and not on a sand bar. The water up there will sometimes rise 3-5 feet during the night.
