What is meant by turn over? I haven't bee able to get to the river in the past couple of weeks. Is it like the stain that is common at Island Ford after a heavy rain?
My second is about Droppers. I just returned from Big Horn, Montana. If you haven't been, go. I have the campsite we stayed at about a 1/2 mile from the river. $20.00 a night. The trout are unbelievable. We fished a nymph rig with the leader and tippet around 11 feet. we used a BB two feet above an attractor pattern. The said it is a San Juan worm. They laughed at us for using it, but I will just send them the pictures. About three feet below that we used the nymph. Is this what you are talking about?

It's more like a greenish cloud. Similiar to stirring up sediment. Visibility is 2-3 feet at Jones Bridge. You can still see the bottom in most places.

I think dropper set ups will be a popular topic at the Fling. I'll say that the length of the droppers I use vary on the conditions and water depth.
