Try www.flyshop.com/marketplace/,quite a few show up there in the classifieds and in the auction(one listing in the classifieds now says he has 50 to sell-mailing list). Also try www.freeyellow.com/members5/ronsrods/index.html. He has a page full but prob don't need restoration-$275 and up. Bamboo shows up at ebay too, in the miscellaneous/sporting goods/fishing.

I've got another url for you for some bamboo rods. This guy has about 60 of them with many in the $125/$130/$150 price range. These are not famous maker rods, but m****produced by Heddon,Southbend ect. which make for very fishable rods rather than something to hang up and look at. I bought a used rod and reel recently from him(graphite-not bamboo-he has graphite and fiberglass, plus reels too). His name is Clark Davis in Wis. He's nice guy and reliable. He's collected these up over the years and has been selling off. Just in case you're still interested. URL is http://www.geocities.com/yosemite/gorge/1954/tacklelist.html
Thanks Ole Man (no disrespect), I took your first advice and posted in the wanted section of vfs and had many people respond. I found a couple I liked, but haven't recieved them yet. Thanks.
Thanks to The Ole Man I was able to get a bamboo rod that is perfect to refinish. I was wondering where I could get the components to put on the rod. I asked at the fish hawk, but they said they really did not know of a place around here. I figured I should come to the experts to find out.

Try Parker Rods & Reels in Roswell. Cal Parker is an internationally known bamboo rod maker. Someone on this board mentioned having a graphite rod made there one time and said they were extremely nice people. This is, if they are still there. I can't find my business pages or would look/see for you. If they don't sell components, am sure they can point the way. Have some other possibilities if this doesn't work out.

The number is 770-993-9096.
You can tell them Bill sent you. It won't do you any good, though, since they don't have a clue who Bill is.
Good luck with your project. They will have your stuff.
Also check out the raodside antique and flea markets. A couple of years ago I picked up a South Bend bamboo for $15.00. Turns out its worth about $300.
