Drift Boat Equipment

I saw a guide on the Chatahoochee the other day who had a drift boat that was equipped with a Yamaha Jet Outboard. Very good for shallow water and rocks. However, the Yamaha is only made in minimum of 28 HP while all of the drift boats I have seen are rated for a maximum of 10 HP.

I am interested in buying a drift boat and would liek to put a similar engine steering setup on my own boat. Any information on this rig would be appreciated.
