In 1991 (I think thats the year) the US Postal Service issued four stamps with flies on them. One was a Stu Apte tarpon fly, one a Lefty's Deceiver, one a Spruce Streamer and one an Adams. These are the only US stamps ever issued with flies on them. I was pretty busy that year and didn't buy any. They are nice to add to a framed fly display and framed fishing prints. Does anybody out there have any of these stamps they would like to sell? If no, does anyone know of a good stamp dealer /store or catalog etc. where they might be found?
Hey Ole Man,
Try www.ebay.com.
They have over 2500 stamps currently on auction and I know they have Canadian fly fishing ones currently listed.
I've been using Ebay for my reel collection for well over a year. Wish I had bought stock when it first went public.

Thanks. I found some to bid on. All wet on the ones printed. They were Royal Wulff, Jock Scott, Apte Tarpon,Lefty's & Muddler Minnow.
They are pretty popular. Don't know how bidding will go. See Canada has some nice ones out recently and postal svc. already sold out. Only available privately. Tnx again.
