IM6 is good stuff. It has gone into some of the finest flyrods ever made. The blank may be pretty good. Don't know, as I have never seen or handled one. Pfluger has been around a long, long time though.

My 2wt was built on an IM-6 blank. I love it. The one man is wise. I have another IM-6 blank coming in thursday for the 4wt I'm building

BIS....I think that b****pro still handels them. I had a friend that bought one and it worked out really good for him. They are not as price driven as Loomis, Sage, T&T and Scott rods, but they still catch fish the same. I think the ran about $80 to $100 for a new one.

BIS,

I bought a Plueger Summit 8'6" 7wt at a sporting good store in Morrow a few years ago. It cost me all of $20 bucks. They were going out of business and the prices were cut. It is built on an IM6 blank.

I use it for ba$$ fishing, and even caught barracuda on it in the FL Keys last year. I've got no complaints as to its looks or performance.

David Edens may be able to expound on IM6 graphite.
