View Full Version : Madame X
The Ole Man
This weekend I got to field test your Madame X (from the fly swap). What a sultury little wench she is. She dosen't care who she tempts, loads of bream, two crappie, one sucker and one rainbow all fell under her spell and all from the same hole. Great job Jack. A man needs an entire haream of these things.

Great! Glad to hear it stayed together thru that many fish. I harden the head and thread with Bondini Gel to make them more durable. You don't get that in a shop model. Don't get any gel on the rubber legs though because it will curl them badly when it dries. I've got a version I call a Madame Xtreme where I substitute a new tail, add a flashy body wrap, and a colored under wing, plus use barred legs. Madame is really seductive in her sequined dress, full make-up, jewelry, and colored accessories. Haven't tried it on the fish yet, but it is much more appealing to the human eye. Where is this hole that contains that many different kind of fish? If you care to say-that is.
Spring creek is a year round trout stream across the street from my house. Most of the time the trout don't get that far upstream, i'm about 2 miles upstream of the last stocking point this makes the third time i've caught the same rainbow out of the same hole. If we can get togeather some time this year i'd love to see the Madame all dressed up.

That bow went looking for a place he liked and just moved in didn't he. A pesky fisherman can't even run him off. We will get together sometime, but you have to bring an extra Altoid can for me.
