Cabela's Fall sales catalogue is out. Their Three Forks 420 Denier Lightweight Stockingfoot Waders are on sale for $24.95.

These are the waders that are being discontinued in favor of a $49.95 model with neoprene feet and reinforced seams.

I've been using these waders for four years about three weeks a year and they still look like new. I'm getting an extra pair since they apparently won't be available when current stocks are gone.

if you check out this months Fly Fish America magazine that is available in most of the fly shops in the area and is FREE !, they compare 18 different brands of breathable waders, it is very informative.

The above referenced waders are NOT breathable but they're very light weight (2.6 lbs.) and they're great for packing.

The Cabela's breathables are also on sale at $139.95...regular $159.95. Don't know how good they are but perhaps they're included in the Flyfish America article.

yes, the Cabela`s breathable waders are included in the article and received a decent grade with the exception of their resistance to DEET. I was fishing in Wyoming on the Green river a few weeks ago, and one of the guides had a pair , and he loved them. The Simms pro-guide received the best marks, but they sell for 359.00. Guess you get what you pay for!

If your gonna spend,.....say...$150 on some breathables.....trust me.....go with the Hodgemans ! however $25 sounds like a good deal...i'll look into those! ( cheap, ya know)
