I have business in South Florida next week and I'm flying down early Sunday A.M (6:30am flight)
Originally, I was going fishing with a co-worker and would not have to pay, but those plans fell through. I have now decided to bite the bullet and part with the money b/c I don't get to South Florida too often...
I was given a guide's name who could take me out for some fly action in two areas. Biscayne bay (permit and bones) or Flamingo (reds and snook).
Here is the dillemma -
The guide says Biscayne is closer but we may not have but a few chances to catch bone fish and permit - spooky fish and the time of day I'll be arriving, etc..
Flamingo will likely be more action, but I can catch reds in Georgia...
Do I go for the most action or gamble on catching a bone fish or permit on my first flats fishing experience?
Thoughts?
Does anyone know any good guides in addition to the one I've comer across?
