Planning to head that way in the morning. Anyone else going?? I met two nice fellows from the Atlanta Fly Fishing Club there last Sunday. Just curious to see if I'd have any company :)
Have a good one,

Bonedog,
It was good meeting you at the parkinglot at the 28 Bridge today, and I appreciate you showing me a few things on the river. I headed upstream and found a few nice pools. Had several follow, but no takers. Anyway, it was a beautiful day on the river. Just wondering how you made out. I will be looking to pick up a few Y2K's on my next trip to the flyshop.

Had a good day on the river. Endless showed me a few of his spots. We saw one other angler all day. Didn't catch a whole bunch, but there were some nice fish. Thanks Enigma.

Hey John,
It was nice to meet you too. Sorry I wasn't more help. I wound up catching 4 more after I broke off my last Y2K and San Juan worm :-(. Swithched to a Wooly Bugger and caught those and missed a whole heap of them. I can't seem to hook half the ones that hit a Wooly Bugger. I hope you had a good day on the river and caught some fish. I'm not much of a fisherman but shoot me a line (no pun intended) if you ever want to meet up at the Chattooga.
Tight Lines,

Bonedog, I am no expert, could definitely be wrong, but I found that by shortening the tail on my WBS resulted in more hookups. Firewalker has a pattern (the ----Mullins) sorry but I cant remember the name, that has a shorter tail and can be fantastic on the Hooch. This winter I was fishing below the dam using a streamer called the "Rolex" lots of glitter and gold, that I had tied using a longer tail. After missing 5-6 really hard strikes I shortend the Marabou and voila. Anyhow my .02. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
Ok LOL maribou and shortened I think http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

Extra long Maribou. Isn't that what they call a Mari-boo-boo? Sorry I couldn't resist.
