If you haven't yet, I highly suggest fishing with one of these two guys: Hugh Hartsell or Rusty Fowler.
I just recently had the opportunity to fish with Rusty Fowler, owner and guide at Fly Drifters River Guides, extensively for a full week. We did the tour of Eastern Tennessee. Unfortunately, we did not have the chance to fish the Clinch River, as it was "blown out" all week.
This was just a trip for fun. Not guided, on either account. However, you wouldn't ever know it unless I didn't tell ya. Rusty showed me all of the sweet spots on one of the South's Greatest Tailwaters, and a handful of streams in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Lemme tell you, he knows his stuff.
You can contact him at racerx@tds.net
Now, Hugh Hartsell;owner and guide of Smoky Mountain Fly Fishing and guide for Fly Drifters showed me an awesome fly and put me on several little rainbows on Abram's Creek. We even hiked way up in there to find them. (NOTE: Rusty caught a nice fish at Abrams, sorry no pics though).
You can contact Hugh at www.smokymountainflyguide.com (http://www.smokymountainflyguide.com)
NOTE: Neither of these guys asked me to do this. I am simply passing along a good source of fly fishing action. Both are guides in Eastern Tennessee, and share a wealth of knowledge on trout fishing throughout the Southeast.
