Recently, I was fishing for b****in a private pond when I hooked into an average size b****and was removing the hook when I noticed a very odd thing in his mouth. Upon further inspection it was found to be an old plastic worm that I had been using. (I know it was me because I am pretty much the only one who fishes the pond.) Anyway the plastic worm appeared to have been there for a while because of the discoloration. I have caught fish in the past with plastic worms in their mouths, but they had been from the fishing done that day. This worm had to have been in the pond for atleast 2 months. Strange, Huh? anyone else had this happen? Any explanations?

Yes, I used to fish this pond behind a fire station and I would always use pumpkin seed rubber lizards. Well a friend of mine took his sons to this pond one afternoon and caught a large mouth and found a lizzard just like I had been using weeks before.
