Biggest fish you've ever caught ?

The biggest fish I've ever caught was a largemouth bass. Itwas Jan. 14, 1987 and I was fishing a small city lake in 40 degree temps. The wind was a steady 10 MPH. I was using a LARGE spinnerbait and talking to a kid that lived in a nearby apt. HE was in the middle of informing me that nothing was goig to bite in such cold weather when my rod was almost pulled from my hands. I caught itat my knees, jerked as hard as I could, . . . and nothing happened. The fish was there, throbbing on the end of 20 ft. of cold, stiff mono. Iknew it was big.I had just landed an 8 lb. b****from the same lake a week earlier and this one felt MUCH larger. She did'nt pull with great force, but her heavy weight bent my rod into a very pronounced curve. In 5 min. she was in my hands and was as long as my arm. I guessed her length at 30" and was sure at he time she was all of 15 lbs. Whether she was 13 or 15, it was the biggest fish I'd ever hooked. The little boy asked me what I was going to do with him. I told him she was full of eggs and I wanted that lake to have more b****for him to catch ( as I let her go). He was not impressed with my decision and he sulked off into his apt. to watch T.V. Oh, well. Maybe he has since come to understand the importance of catch and release. He may even practice it himself.

Hello Jeff!!!!! Are you picking on me???/I am very bad at putting back large trout...Most fisherman are notorious liars...If you don't have a photo or a wall mount where I am from...You are telling stories....Then there is the 35LL lense...35 Liars Lense...Each one of my large fish are displayed on my living room wall...a standard tape measurer is always within reach..." Late to Bed...Early to rise..Fish all day....Make up lies...!!!!!!" You can NOT stretch a wall mount...IF I am wrong and took offense to your posting....I am SORRY and BRING on the fishing stories because I DO LOVE THEM...spinner...
