I have been trot fishing in N. GA for about 13 yrs. and a funny thing has happened to me more than once. I usually fish and camp alone, because I didn't know anyone to go with ( unti NGTO ! http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif ) and I am often a little timid about being in the woods ( usually miles and miles from any towns) by myself. The " boogers" don't scare me, just the thought of stepping on an ill snake and dying before I could get to town.
On several occasions( 3 that I def. remember) I have, in the middle of the night been joined by a dog. Not the same dog, but different ones, some just snooping around, but one that pawed the outside of my tent until I came out and started a fire for us both. They are always in the middle of nowhere and very friendly. Anyone else ever had this happen. It's a spooky thing.... http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
