Only could not go fishing so LONG!!!!!

Right ankle is swollen up and red yet...fever is gone...Couldn't help it...Had to find a trout or two...Went to a place that it had NOT rained buckets lately...My home county way up in the northwest section of Crawford County...Haven't fished there in 10 years..It is DNR land...Lots of green crap in the water at first but the water was clear...Walked about 2 miles and finally started getting some action...Ended up catching 8 trout...10-16 inches...One 14.5 inch brookie...really colorful...Had a large fish of some kind spook out of the hole that I caught the brookie out of when I hooked the brookie...Going after work tomorrow...same hole....spinner...**ALL BETTER**

COOOOL man, glad to hear ya fishin again, and glad ya had some luck, but I must say I am very jealous of all the nice trout, esspecially the 14 1/2"inch brookie! http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

The hole is a combination of a long flat...about twenty yards long....10yards wide......about four foot deep with slow moving water and about two feet down there is vegetation...The middle of the hole has a down tree in it and the hole itself is 5-6 feet deep...The other side of the hole has another long flat just like the other but there is a cut in the vegetation going directly into the down tree and some fast water going into the curve before the main hole......Caught nothing there tonight but saw lots of surface action just before dark....I was wading it and held still for maybe twenty minutes trying to place casts.....This hole would be best fished by a fly angler...something on the top because of the weeds....I was a little shy one my last post to describe the fish...You guys have heard my ranking before....Lets say if it isn't the biggest small stream trout I ever seen....It is almost.....Not the longest but by far the fattest....I might have to break down and show the hole to one of my fly fishing buddies.....spinner...Caught/released the brookie on size 4 panther martin...silver blade...blue body...I ALWAYS RELEASE BROOKIES....
