Oh man! My best fishing trip ever happened this week. We left Tuesday and camped 2 nights and came back Thursday. We hiked in with all of our camping gear. There was noone else camping, and about the time we set up camp it was lunch time(1:00), hear comes this green truck. Dad said I think it's the stocking truck, I went up to the driver and he said he had trout. I went and helped him stock the trout, he said about 300, but I think more like 100, cause it was only one of the boxes.

Once he stocked them, they were like sitting ducks, I mean that part of the river was just smothered with trout, they were bumping into each other and jumping. So first thing, we got out the spinners, GOOD GREIF, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, bam, thank you stocking truck man, we must of caught 15-20 each on the spinners before they figured it out, some went abou 14-15". Before they figured it out, this family of hikers came by, they were just watching us fish, but I was like here one of you try it, they loved it, the kids were even reeling in trout, it was so much fun. After they left, I got out my flyrod and so did dad, they hit beadheads, nonbeadheads, when evening approuched, about 6, we tied a dryfly on, and they smacked it over and over and over again. The rest of the day and till dark we caught trout on every to every other cast, especially the evening, they went wild on skittered caddis, we each caught about 40-50 on that day, it was just unbelievable, we caught so many back to back that our arms got tired. We did the same thing the Wednesday. That morning I went down at 6 and dad about 7, but for an hour I caught about 15. Then dad came down and we got about 15-25 more each that morning. They kinda turned off at 12 till 2. Then some other people came in and the fishing was a little tougher. At 3 we fished till dark and caught about another 20-30. Then Thursday we fished from about 7 to 11, and it was slow we may have each caught about 10-20.

ABOUT 100 TROUT EACH THIS TRIP. ALL RELEASED BUT 7 THAT WERE BLEEDING. BEST FISHING TRIP EVER!
