While bream fishing today with a white foam spider on the little 4-wt, I got a take that at first seemed no different than all the other bream strikes I was getting. But this sucker was pretty strong and it took a while to land him. As he came up out of the water, I saw it was a little schoolie stiper!
Now, if I can catch them that way, why did I need that 9-wt rod and all those Deceivers that the fly shop sold me?
