NGTO admin. and others!!!...
How's it going? Hope y'all have seen my name around the board quite a bit over the last 6 months or so!
I think fly fishing is GREAT. I've avoided getting into it just b/c I'm impatient, it would be one more HUGE thing for me to spend $$$ on, and I've been working spinning outfits all my life.
I LOVE my 'lil ultralight, I could prob hit a brookie in the face w/ a 1/32 oz. spinner through 34 rhododendrons... (and then lose spinner on the way out, but that's not the point! http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif
I was thinking: since this GREAT site is all about trout fishing as a whole, wouldn't it be cool to have a message board for those of us who attack from a spinning angle? I mean, I make my own custom spinners w/ fly patterns and have all kinds of techniques and stories, etc. that I think would be great to share in a forum w/ other guys who are into that, too. A lot of times, ffishing dominates other rooms -- and that's cool, I learn a TON. But maybe... as an experiment, we could see if many posts came up in a kind of "Spinning Room."
And hey -- I'm not sure of the regs, but I would be honored to moderate it, given the proper instructions on how that works!
