Ladies why are all the fishin' tournaments on the Alabama side?

After I research on the internet for fishing in Georgia (just so happens I live at Lake Walter F. George - alias Lake Eufaula) I came to the terrible reality that we are not even on the map! (Fort Gaines, GA) Am I missing something here? There are some of the nicest cabins at Bagby State Park (Fort Gaines Georgia), camping at Cotton Hill, a Lodge, Marina..... Historical Sites.... quiet and you can fish your little heart out..
