The AFFC now has a pretty good e-mail network going through Yahoo. They also have a very informative web site also that I posted above.

I can't make it to the meetings down at Manual's but I'm a member anyway.

Especially if folks live in the Atlanta area, I'd recommend joining for the $15 annual fee. I believe they support the Federation of Fly Fishers.

Besides their usual offerings of fly tying and fishing trip get-togethers, interesting examples of offers through the club I've seen this year were a fly fishing exploration with Jimmy Jacobs and a half-price deal to the Bahamas for bonefish with Henry Cowen.

BTW: I received a notice of current and previous members a while back and noticed a few NGTO folks that had not renewed. If you have not been receiving e-mail notices because you forgot to renew, you might want to check with the AFFC folks.
