Rod Raffle

The Foothills Chapter is getting ready for their annual "Hoot On The Hooch" March 8th at the Sautee-Nacoochee Community Center. Leading up to the banquet, we'll be selling raffle tickets for a great rod/reel outfit.

This year we have a Sage VPS Light 389-3 (remember, it's the best casting rod ever made!) with a Ross Evolution reel and Sage Quiet Taper line for our raffle. Raffle tickets are $10.00 each and may be purchased at Unicoi Outfitters. We'll even take your donation through the mail.
Send a check for $10.00 for each ticket you wish to purchase and make it out to "Georgia Foothills TU". Mail your check to Georgia Foothills TU, P.O. Box 8, Cornelia, GA 30531. Be sure to include your phone number so we can get in touch with you if you win.

Thank you for your support. Everyone is welcome to attend the "Hoot On The Hooch". We'll begin socializing around 6:00 PM and there will be barbeque and bluegrass. Come on up!

The Sautee-Nacoochee Comm. Center is about 3 minutes from our shop. Turn on Hwy. 17 E. at the Indian mound. In "downtown" Sautee, turn left on Hwy. 255 (right at Old Sautee Store). The Comm. Center is just past the volunteer fire department on your left. Hope to see you there; along with everyone else on this board!

Rocketroy will be there, interning under the famous Dave Burton @ the Grill, serving up pulled BBQ,and other manly delights! To "Ole Man " Et.Al....... The Sautee Nacoochee Community Center is quite a historical destination site, and is well worth coming up early to visit the History museum, Art Gallery, performing theatre, etc., and the restored 1930,s school house, that houses it!
