Just passing this along for anyone (TU or not) that would like to help out)
Pat

Friends,

In the last couple of years, the Boy Scouts have introduced a merit
badge program designed to develop fly fishing knowledge and skills. The
Oconee Chapter of Trout Unlimited has committed to assist young men in
the local Boy Scout organization in pursuit of this badge. The
Northeast Georgia Council has organized a Fly Fishing Camporee at Parks
Ferry on Lake Oconee for the weekend of March 28-30, 2003. The
organizers expect 80-100 boys to attend for instruction on safety and
merit badge requirements, fly fishing equipment, fishing knots, flies
and fly tying, fly casting and reading a stream. We need a number of
volunteers to assist in this effort on Saturday, March 29th, from 9:00am
to 5:00pm. If you're interested, additional information and directions
will be available at the Oconee TU website: http://www.orctu.org. We
need to get some idea of the number of volunteers and the
section/subject matter that you would like to participate in. Please
make contact by Monday, March 24th.

Thanks,

Mike Harrison
