Hello, Brent Tolbert here! I was just curious if someone could point me in the direction of the closest chapter of TU to where i am. I live in Clarkesville, GA which is Habersham County. Thanks a ton in advance!
I would guess Foothills chapter. I think they sometimes meet at Sautee.
Email Jimmy Harris of Unicoi Outfitters at the bottom of the message board or Rocketroy who is also from Clarkesville.
Welcome to the board.

Brent,
Foothills TU encompases Habersham, White, Stevens, Banks and parts of Hall County. Usually we meet at the library in Cornelia. However, this summer we've sort of been on vacation. Hope to get back to a regular schedule this month. You are welcome to come and bring anyone else along who would like to find out what we're up to.

Easiest application is go to www.tu.org (http://www.tu.org) and join there. Make sure you some kind of premium for doing so! TU is always giving a box of flies or something for joining. TU National is not the best at assigning you to a chapter as they use zip code tables, but let the chapter president sort that out for you. And by the way, just because you join one doesn't mean you can't go visit another if they happen to be having a speaker you would like to hear.

If you join now through your local chapter, it will only cost you 17.50 as a new member. Thats a great deal.
