The Coosa Valley Chapter is going to work at Mountaintown Creek on August 14, 2004

Meet at the gate at 9:00AM August 14.
Five structures have been identified as needing work, and the trail has been staked and is ready for improvement.
For those of you who plan to participate in the stream survey (shocking) you need waders.

We are in need of someone to cook lunch. It is important that I get a head count, and someone to cook hamburgers and hot dogs.
There will be four FS rangers in addition to us. Please let me know soonest.

[The Ole Man]

A very productive workday on Mountaintown today. Good to see everyone and meet some new faces. The turnout was about 25 folks. The shocking survey was VERY productive. We got started around 9:30 am, did the survey, ate a great lunch, completed 5 stream structure repairs and were gone by 3:00 pm. Lot of fun playing in the creek.
