How is it fishing? Are they still biting the Y2Ks or have they gotten tired of them yet? Any other suggestions?

Y2K's are still working just fine. Small blue wing olives (sizes 18 and 20) and BH pheasant tails (size 18 and 20 also) are working as well. Stop by the shop and say Hello!

I am going to have to add to Metrela's list of good flies for Smith's as she left out the big producer of the week.

Put on some Stonefly Nymphs, with a small BH Pheasant Tail as a dropper. Fish the flies in med-deep riffles where the flies can get down and stay down.

We've been doing well the last few days with this set-up. The Y2K's actually haven't been too productive(at least for us) the last week or so.

Again, as Jimmy Harris says "...if you're not dragging your flies on the bottom on occasion, you're not getting your flies deep enough..." or something to that extent.

Have fun, and call for any more "sweet spots" and details on Smith's Creek- we look forward to seeing you on the water!

Later...
