Finally got to visit metrella at her Unicoi shop in Blue Ridge... What a great place and a fine person to talk to. If anyone that has not had the pleasure of meeting metrella and Unicoi take some time and go visit the shop. Great place! Metrella you are probably the most down to earth person I have ever met. I will be up that away again in a week and look forward in stopping by... Keep up the excellent work!!!

"But when I am alone in the half light of the canyon all existence seems to fade to a being with my soul, and memories. And the sounds of the Big Black Foot River, and a four count rhythm, and the hope that a fish will rise. Eventually, all things merge into one, and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world's great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words, and some of the words are theirs. I am haunted by waters."

EE,
rubber legged stoneflies and bhsh Pheasant tails are working to get the bigger fish. BLack WBs are also still working well. If you want dries, Caddis and eastern march browns are working now. I can sell you a T&T rod if you like (just kidding, wait a minute, no I'm not). Due to low rainfall amounts, the lake is not filling up as fast as it should so there hasnt been much of a release at all. should be fine this weekend, (disclaimer about TVA, you know the drill).
yep, I view it more now as escaped Atlanta. Still good fishing to go back home to. Nothing like a nice afternoon on a pond with a couple of zebcos, crickets, big bluegills and sharing some moonpies with my nephews. Life is good!

Also wanted to say hi, Metrella. Vidalia1 and I stopped in last weekend before heading to the Toccoa while staying in BR (I was the one who confused you asking for directions to the store).

Just wanted to say again that you were very helpful and hope I can get up to the store again soon. Thanks again!

turnage!
