Dukes Creek hours

I'll be working up at a summer camp just outside of Cleveland, GA this summer off of hwy 129 N. I plan to do some fishing around the area on my off days, and I am curious what the hours are for the morning and afternoon sessions on Dukes Creek. I've never fished it before, and I'm excited to try to get my day off on a Wed, Sat, or Sun and give it a try this summer. Thanks. Also, how is fishing the hooch through Helen in the summer. Are there areas where tubers aren't a problem?

The AM session is 7:30 - 1:00. The PM session is 2:00 - 6:30. You should be pretty good at it by the end of summer. As for the Hooch in town during the summer, you can't get away from the tubers unless you go very early or very late in the day. If we get good rain througout the summer, it will fish well. If we fall into a prolonged drought, you'll probably want to go higher up and find cooler water. As for the tubers, you can actually catch fish right among them; it's just aggravating and you have to put up with some verbal abuse now and then. Come see us when you get to town.
