View Full Version : Taccoa Question
I May have an opportunity to fish at the dam or Curtis switch friday evening. I've never fished these waters before.
Does the TVR usually cooperate on Friday evenings? Are there private property issues at the bridge at the switch?
Thanks.
Sorry for the double post. I'd also be interested in fishing the upper Taccoa since I need to be in the Dial area around 8:00. Is there access near the where the Noontootla flows into the Taccoa?
Thanks.

decfly,
all I can tell you regarding the tva is call before you get in the water. No consistancy at all. If your going to fish at curtis switch, go down to the TVA canoe launch. Its easy access, easy parking and no worries if your on private land or not.
If you want to fish the upper Toccoa, try fishing on the TU parking areas just upstream of shallowford bridge. Then drive to the end of Aska Road and take a left. That should put you pretty close to your destination in Dial. The area where the Noontootla joins the Toccoa is private. Stop by and see us if you have time.
