Two weeks away and atleast one more hurricane to deal with before my next trip to the Bend. Jimmy, what should i be tying up while i sit thru the next 4 days of rain?? Looks like i'll have some time on my hands huh?? Looking for working patterns for the beginning of Oct.. What will Hamp have us throwing and maybe i can expand on that.. Gotta few of my own to try also http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif

Hi skibum...

Well, I was out fishing some after work on Sunday and everything I caught was on Y2Ks. The water was still pretty high then, and off-color. Which may well be the case when you get here...if so, I'd concentrate on tying up some junk food: Y2Ks, SJ Worms in hot pink, egg patterns, etc. Hamp has mentioned brown stonefly nymphs recently...about a size 10, so you may want to work on those. We did have a couple guides fishing yesterday having luck with Green Weenies...which may or may not be considered junk food, depending on your outlook! Also, several of the guides have been floating their droppers under Tarantulas and the fish have been coming up for the big dries.

Hope this gives you some ideas,

Lee

Thanks Lee.. I've already been tying a few of those up for the coming NCDH season so i'll be in good shape.. I think i still have the Tarantula from the last time i was there, but will be sure to pick up a couple. Tell Hamp I dont want any #12 Buggers that break in half this time, and also that were coming back for that fish we lost under the bridge last year http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif

Thanks...

The smaller soft hakles have been very productive as well.
