Striper flys

I am looking for epoxy/rabbit fur pattern for Lanier stripers. Other known flys that take Lanier stripers are appreciated.

I've never fished Lanier for stripers, but I talk to a lot of people that do. I'm sure the epoxy/rabbit fur pattern would work fine. White and chartruse clousers, white deer hair streamers, and silver and white deceivers are all flies that are being used for stripers on Lanier. I don't think the pattern really matters, as long as it's white and closely resembles a shad. Also, on mid-lake surface activity, I've heard that many people are using shooting heads and sinking lines to get the baits into the strike zones.
Stripers are very unselective on patterns, as long as the bait looks like food. I had six stripers saturday on the river "waking" a 13" AC plug, and I know they ain't never seen anything in the river that looked like that.
Go figure!

Have had good success with hybrid taking clouser minnows - generally white with chartreuse. I'm sure you've heard this before, but the fact is, they work.

Remember, though the fish may be big, he doesn't necessarily want a huge bait. Depends on the size forage he's chasing that day. Overall, most successful size for me is about 2.5", but I tie `em from 1" to 4". My clouser is shown at http://www.mindspring.com/~kje/clouser.htm

However, Sunday morning on West Point Lake I was strikeless with my clouser while seeing fish sign (gulls & Hummingbird), I switched to weird little white muddler w/lead eyes and immediately took a 5 lb hybrid.

But the clouser is normally the fly for me - I've taken trout, bass, hybrid bass, bream, crappie, carp, catfish, redfish, sea trout, snook, snapper, spanish mackerel and barracuda on it.
