Lake Nottely

A friend and I are heading up to Lake Nottely Sat morning and, never having even seen the lake, could use some words of wisdom from anyone who is familiar with this body of water. Advice on where to put in, where to fish, what to use, what to fish for; well, I guess just any advice whatsoever would be greatly appreciated.

Nottely is more river than lake. They had some few remaining smallmouth, more spotted b****than largemouth, and a growing striper population. I'd recommend you take advantage of a marina that's been there forever for both a ramp and good advice.

Take 129 north out of Blairsville, (maybe 8-10 miles) and turn left on 325. This goes across the dam and eventually arrives at the marina (or glorified store & bait shop) after maybe 7 miles. The folks who run the store are helpful, and I'm sure they have maps.
