Altamaha River

Has anyone fished this river for bluegills and Bass?I heard about a fish camp there called Beards Creek.Hows the fishing? Any suggestions?Thanks Garrick

You may want to go to the GON page at GON.com and go to the message board. There was guy that has been fishing it recently and it sounded like the fishing was good, but that the river was down.

There are some monster flatheads in there, and I'm sure a new state record is waiting to be caugth. A seventy-something lb flathead was shocked up and released last year.
