Well, I took my girlfriend down to the lake yesterday and while she caught her first ever flyrod fish. Was a perfect day, she caught plenty of bluegill and shellcrackers. I on the other hand was lucky enough to catch at least one of everything our lake has to offer. Bluegill, Shellcracker, Warmouth, Largemouth, Crappie, and a catfish. What a day. I see a future flyfisher in the midst. She looks like a natural. Oh yeah, have found that minnow immitations made with the polar fibre works increadibly well. I tie mine bend back style and took the first 6lb b****of the season on Saturday. Awsome for taking those bedders.
