So I go to the local lake on y lunch break to relieve some stress and spend a whole 20 min. fishing for some little bluegills and the odd 10" b@ss. I am standing on the dock where everyone feeds the ducks bread and the bream congregate. I am using my flyrod, and although I'm not casting 100 ft. ( not that THAT would have mattered) anyone could see that I am fishing the 30X25 area inside that particular cove. A truck pulls up and out pop two middle aged Bubba's with hardly a tooth between them. They proceed to sit down on the bank within arm's length of the dock that I am standing on. The dock is 6 ft. long and 2 ft. wide. Suddenly a line with a half pound of lead zips by my head. I look back and they just grin( toothless, mind you) They throw out ( get this) 14 lines among them, all in a4 ft. run of the bank. 14 rods within inches of each other. I almost asked if I could see their commercial lic. ! Needless to say I couldn't make a decent backcast for their clever positioning. I caught 3 or 4 more small bream before getting ill and leaving. Oh, did I forget to mention that it was drizzling rain and the whole 600 yds. of public access was devoid of another human being ! They just had to fish right under my line........Jbird - I thought hard about filling that hole with rocks as I left.....but as usual , I just left them to the hole. The next time I buy a house, you can all bet that it wil have a lake or pond or private water of some degree. ....and your all invited to fish it. There will be a large sign that reads " No 'Bubba's' Allowed ! Check your rudeness at the gate! "
