Hybrid

Ffing Duo caught a nice 7 1/2 pound hybrid on West Point Monday along with a half dozen spotted bass and some bream. I had to content myself with a few dozen bluegills and a couple of small spotted bass.

Thanks to FWF for introducing me to hybrids. We weren't able to consistently find them, but the one was exciting. Can they pull! You failed to mention my spotted bass were also small. Heck, some of the monster bream you caught were bigger than some of the spots.

In my mind those folks that came up with the Hybrid ought to be awarded the Nobel prize!!No trout or bass ever fought that hard.Well,maybe,a smallie.Wouldn't it be great to have bluegills that would get up to 7 or 8 pounds---I hear that hell has them but they have no mouths.GRW
