Seasonal stream?

Is Smith's creek at Anna Ruby (below the parking lot) a seasonal stream?

The regs have it in bold letters so I think it is year round but a friend says it's seasonal....just wanted to know when to go.

Jetguy...If it where seasoal there would be alot of guys getting tickets including myself. Seasonal streams are closed right now and Smiths is the talk of the board. Its open so.....GO RIP SOME LIPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is some confusion because the idea to make Smith's a DH stream was approved after the reg.s for this year had been printed. The reg.s of the past say it's seasonal and in years past it was seasonal. There are 2 parts of Smith's Creek. The lower - DH section and the Upper - regular section( which is still seasonal). The upper section has a population of small wild bows according to Jimmy Jacobs' book. There are better wild streams to fish so I haven't fished it in years. The DH end of the strea is one of the most amazing things I have ever beheld.At least after the trout are supplemented. If you are looking for a thropy sized trout and don't have the $$ to pay to catch it, Smith's is the place to be!
