Dukes Creek Stocking

Bill: Who is responsible for stocking at Dukes Creek? I know that with the pounding it takes the trout are spooky and leader shy but it seems that the larger fish are substantially reduced. Could this be due to the fact they are caught so many times and released improperly that they fail to survive?

Tom,
Dukes Creek is only stocked occasionally. Feeding is the primary source of larger fish, and the stream has done very well with very few stockings (none last year). DNR is aware catch rate has declined and is shocking the stream today. Stockings will be made depending on Lee Keefer's recommendations.
