Whats your initial thought on possibly making the current artificial only section on the Hooch a trophy trout section. Artificial only, 1 fish per day and a minimum length for that fish. Could the hatchery concentrate some of the larger fish placements there? Are the the fish so migratory in the Hooch that it would be ineffective anyway? Could the trophy section idea be put on the survey you mentioned? Could the survey be placed on ngto so that everyone here gets to participate?
Course too, if the trophy section came to pass, naturally a new boat ramp and parking facility would be required at Hwy 20 bridge-for law enforcement access mainly -right? http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

I like that idea Ole Man. Like you said though, migration and lack of food might make it hard.

Your right on what we were talking about. I couldn't have asked it better. Hope bill answers soon.

This sounds like a great idea. I'd like to get feedback on the migration/food situation. Enforcement will be a big problem. It may take a shoot-to-kill order to keep the poachers out. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif Seriously, part of the problem is education of the public, many people I've spoken with (those that understood English)had little idea of the laws. Some didn't even know about licenses! I fear the government types go for the lowest common denominator (corn & Zebco types).
