Bill,
Is either the DNR or the Game and Fish Comission planning to change or place any type of new laws/regulations as far as protecting our fisheries and manageing our fisheries more effectively??? If so, what are they planning, what are the plans, and when do they expect that these plans will be put into action, so to speak???

They usually change laws at the beginning of the season ( March ).( As far as fishermen are concerned.) I have been wonderin myself about the status of that " No Barbless" idea. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/smile.gif

Floater,
There are only a few proposed changes to fishing regulations this year. Are generally proposed early in the year and approved or rejected by the Board of Natural Resources in late summer. The proposals this year are mostly housekeeping changes. The name of a road on Amicalola, removing Smith Creek (Delayed Harvest section) from seasonal designation, designating Amicalola from Steele Bridge Road to Ga 53 Delayed Harvest, and opening Evans County PFA year round.
Bill

Owl,
I don't know of any regulations changes concerning barbless hooks.
