????phase IV trout stream????

Bill,
We are looking at some land in the copper hill, Tennessee area and it is listed as having a phase IV trout stream flowing through it. Is this a Tennessee state fish & game term, and if so, what does it mean? Thank you for your time.

Ranger Joe,

I called Tenessee Wildlife Resources Agency (615)781 6475 and got a return call from Frank Fiss (Fisheries Coordinator). He was not aware of a phase IV trout stream designation. He indicated Tennessee designated their trout streams as: trout streams and naturally reproducing trout streams.
