Are we perhaps making someone at DNR a little uncomfortable with some of the questions and information we want answers to? Something seems a little fishy to me when a state employee is told not to communicate with the public (at least part of the public which might be a little critical of that department) anymore. Maybe the sqeaky wheel theory really works-except in this case in the opposite direction.

Hmmmmm..... I wonder if Bill is REALLY on vacation.....

"I wonder if Bill is REALLY on vacation....."

I sincerily hope that Bill and Lisa have not been reprimanded for anything they have said on the NGTO Message Board.

If the "superiors" of these two fine folks are listening in, please note the following:

Bill Couch and Lisa Klein have represented DNR in a most exemplary fashion. Both have taken time from their personal lives to appear at NGTO functions and answer questions here on the Message Board.

With the recent use of the Internet by DNR to sell hunting/fishing licenses, I believe a DNR "question and answer" Forum on the 'Net was inevitable. These two individuals have been able to accomplish this in fine fashion.

If Lisa and Bill are not allowed to post on the NGTO Board as DNR representatives, perhaps a "Q and A" message board could be established on the DNR website featuring these very knowledgeable folks.

Lisa and Bill...keep up the excellent work. I recently visited a trout hatchery in Arkansas that was doing some nifty things that I'll relate to you soon.

Thanks again for your time,

Drifter

I ditto Drifters comments as I am sure we all do.

Well said Drifter! I really hope there is some totally innocent reason that Lisa was told not to post for a while. Her and Bill always provide timely answers to all our questions, or refer them to someone who can get an answer for us.

I really hope that they would not be reprimanded for something they posted trying to answer our questions. They are both outstanding representatives of their agency.

I saw them down at the welfare office filling out paperwork. Bill even had his pockets stuffed full of trout-taking them with him to have something to eat I guess.

Hahaha.. There's a recent post by TED that has a clue at the end of it.
