Lake Lanier Meeting

Anglers and others,
Many lake and tailwater anglers, goose hunters, and other users may be interested and should be made aware of this public meeting on August 16. WRD will have an info booth at meeting and will staff it at least in the afternoon and evening. Note on web site that there is a means to send your comments to COE ( deadline is 8/26).

Bill threw this out pretty quietly. But it may be very important to anybody that is concerned about the future uses of Lake Lanier and the tailwater below the dam.

The Corps is seeking comments.

I was unable to attend because of work. I am interested in hearing the opinions/observations of those who did attend the open house.

I read all of the doc, but I still have some questions...
What kinds of projects is USACE looking at? What kinds of projects are they responsible for besides releaseing water from the dam? What are some of the concerns that some of you have that USACE controls?
