Anyone fishing JB Friday?

I thought i might drive over this friday form athens and give jones bridge a try. How is the fishing over there been? Is the water clear? Anybody else going to be there Friday?

Hey 123C I worked JB today from about 5:00 to 7:30 . I caught about a dozen little "Bows" 8 to 14 inch. There has been a lot of people working JB in the last few weeks .The water was clear and there was a little action up top .Caught my Dinks on streamers .Did not catch as many as usual because I think JB is getting worked over pretty hard.My best days to work JB seem to be Tuesday and Wednesday.If you go tomorrow I would try walking up past the old Iron bridge and getting in at the first run above it.That stretch is always is good to me when I work a black woolly bugger Deep ,Deep ,Deep above the bridge and a little past it. There is usually some nice browns below the first run above the bridge I get a few fat 18s every once in awhile in that stretch.Good Hunting

OK- all this rain should mess us up for a few days-
I was taking two boys- 11 and 9- to catch their first trout- I guess we are going bream fishing!

When do you guys think it will clear out?

Don't give up on the hooch just yet. I went yesterday and it was barely stained. Unless it pours today it should be fine.
