View Full Version : Float tube
I am looking for a place to do some float tubing that I can work that will not require two cars. Does anyone have any spots where you can get in and out of that is worth experimenting? I have just stumbled into this site and have read a lot of very useful information.

Welcome to the board Leto. You might want to try Jones Bridge park you can do a little float tube run and catch some nice trout. The fulton county side is the way I come in and I park at the boat ramp and walk up to the shoals with my gear and float back down. Will be there today at 6:00. I use a camo pattern float tube so if you see me give me a yell. Good Hunting
Thanks for the info on JB. Will all of this hard rain, will it be worth going out today? I definitely will be out there this week. Do you come into JB from 141 or from Jones Bridge Rd off of Holcomb Bridge?

The name of the road by Harris Teeter is Barnwell. You can go to McGinnis Ferry walk down to the river on the Fulton side and walk up about a 1/2 mile or so the the giant rock (you can't miss it) and float back down. Its a real short float but that area holds fish (unless I'm fishing it).
