When I left them they were just really starting to get in them up top.Kiserzoze,Fly on the Wall,Rod and Ichthus. I had to fish from the bank today it was killing me and they were pretty hard on me yelling across the river asking me how I was doing. I can't disclose the location its top secret stuff but I can tell you I will be there tomorrow catching them up top. Im not positive on this and I could be mistaken but I think a few of them were fishing with drys and a niblet dropper. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif I did have a young lady filming me with her camera while I was casting and she said she was going to make me famous . I think it was something about a Cigarette commercial in Turkey where they were from. It was either that or a turkey smoking a cigarette casting from the bank while everyone else was slamming fish up top. It was one or the other Im positive. Nice to meet all you guys today and enjoyed talking with you . Lets do it again tomorrow . Seeya on the river and Good Hunting

Grey,
Can't "do it again tomorrow." Did you hear the release schedule today: 8 AM to 8 PM. What the heck's with that! Must be worried about all the extra rain we've had this year.
Maybe DNR is trying to discourage NGTOr's from wearing the fish out every Wednesday.

Really enjoyed meeting fly on the wall and Rod and fishing with kiserzoze and GG. Fishing in the heavy fog created by warm air and COLD water with drys was tough but the fish cooperated nicely.
If any one gets a chance to fish below Buford d a m right after a release, do it. The best days I've had there are in the evening as soon as they stop generating. I guess the fish have been put down by the current and come out hungry. Wear some heavy clothing if you go, IT'S COLD.
There are a lot of stockers but plenty of holdovers too. First fish I caught was a 15" brown with an attitude. After his initial run he settled down and just started pulling. I was using 7x because the water is gin clear this time of year. I backed my drag way down to keep from snapping off. He got in a long straight run and headed upstream. Didn't stop until my fly line to backing knot came off the reel. Granted I wasn't putting a lot of pressure on him but I didn't point my rod at either. Beautiful color, fat, full sharp fins. The cold water seems to make them real strong.
It was a great afternoon in good company. Fly on the wall has convinced me that if you keep throwing a tiny BWO at rising fish "they will come" again and again. I'm also convinced it's good to be a stupid dog with a bumper flattend nose. http://www.georgia-outdoors.com/ubbngto/wink.gif

Generating starts today at the Dam at 11:05 and runs until 10:20 pm. If you have a day off and like fishing up top you need to be on your way.

Ghost:
Absolute pleasure meeting and fishing with you, kizerzoze, rod and ICHTHUS. Couldn't have asked for better conditions or better company. Any time you'd like to dust off the Tracker a Bull Sluice I willing to bring it down if you your willing to push it over the skinny spots.
Kizerzoze-that hopper is amazing isn't it.
Rod-I remember what you said about the brim. You're on my list.
ICHTHUS-any time you get the uncontrollable urge to "chase cars" you know how to get a hold of me.
Thanks gentlemen for one of the most enjoyable fishing trips in a long time.
PS Your feet still cold?
