I hit Jones Bridge yesterday morning. Cold water as it went down to a normal level. I did well in the Browns water. A fine one at 19 inches!!!! The biggest I've got out of that area and so late in the season. Hard to believe he swam away after being caught on a coachman streamer with a barb and landed in a net!!! More interestingly was my buddy caught a five inch largemouth bass on a micky finn!!!! Where he came from I don't know. I'm dumbfounded. Anyone else ever catch one there? Does anyone on this board guide on the Hooch. Someone was out giving instructions and sounded professional. If it is one of you all e-mail me I have a question.

Hey Pisc
Congrats! But did you say "with a barb?" Do we need to talk?
Listen, about the bass.... I met a dude at the boat ramp (Jones Bridge) with a stringer including a bass (about 2 pound largemouth). I was surprised, but he wasn't. He's caught them before and talked about the bass like they were a trash fish (????). I'm sure the larger ones are in hog heaven with all the stockers around.
