Palisades?

Could someone help me out here? I have not fished the Hooch much, but was considering doing so Fri am. I only know the dam and Island Ford areas, but am interested in the DH section. I was told that the Palisades area is basically by Ray's on the River. Is this correct?
Best area? Directions?

Try going to the park at HWY 41 and walking up stream. I-75 is a short distance away and the fishing is good from the boat ramp at 41 north. I will be there Friday morning as well at about 9-9:30 AM.
