For casting education videos try Mel Kriegers The Essence of Fly Casting and The same in Vol. 2, Doug Swisher Basic Fly Casting, Lee and Joan Wulff School of Fly Casting, Mike and Denise Maxwell Art and Science of Fly Casting, and Lefty's Lessons with Lefty. I'm sure there are alot more but after watching a few of the masters you will see their differences and more important their similarities. Once you have seen and understand their similarities you will know what are the unbreakable rules to the game and what is just a matter of different styles

I like all the above tapes, but I want to recommend one more.
I own "Saltwater Flycasting" by George V. Roberts, Jr. and I consider it the best pure fly casting instructional video I have ever seen. His emphasis is on making the best possible standard fly cast whether it be for fresh or salt applications. He doesn't go into any specialty casts or line management, just the ingredients of a good back and forward cast. He doesn't even teach the single and double hauls, and yet he still shows you how to throw a super long, accurate cast. If you are looking to improve the basic mechanics of your fly casting get this video.
